Lowest Air Fares Available
Posted: January 12th, 2010 | Category: Home Based BusinessTo make for easy reading I’ve listed the tips in point format. The tips are taken from a number of reviews I’ve written and I’ve picked the important ones.
Book in advance
The best way to find a cheap flight is by booking early. leaving your booking for the last minute will result in late bokking charges which are usually high. The earlier you book the better. Try 10 weeks in advance if you can.
Travel midweek
The week days are really the best times to travel that is between Monday and Thursday. The rest of the times the fares are much higher. Most people tend to want to fly over the weekends making them peak periods, if you want cheap flights consider mid week flights.
Book indirect flights
It is no secret that direct flights are costly. This comes with the convenience of direct flying. If you are looking for the cheapest flights in the literal sense then direst flights are not an option.
Travel in winter
If you ever compared flights in summer and winter then you’d know that winter prices are cheaper. This is because winter is considered off peak in South Africa i.e. midyear since we are in the Southern Hemisphere.
Travel at night
Most flights do occur during night times. However there are also day-flights, which you must avoid if you want to fly cheap. However, it is always best to compare these flights just incase there is a discount being offered by the day-flights.
All this information including up to date air fares is available at any one of these. Do take your time to check out more resources on this site and on the web:
