Don’t Take the Protection of Your Anti-Aging Skin Care System For Granted

Do not rely on an anti-aging skin care review alone to pick safe or effective products.  Get some facts about what a safe and effective anti-aging skin care system should include.  Safety in cosmetics may be a new concept for you, but it is worth your consideration.

An anti-aging skin care review will only tell you about the clients satisfaction or dissatisfaction with a specific product.  This is not like purchasing a TV or PC.  This is something that you will be putting on your face, body or hands, each day.

First and foremost is to get a manufacturer you can have faith in.  Look for one which has signed the “Compact for Safe Cosmetics”.  These manufacturers have accepted not to use damaging chemicals in their contra-aging skin care system.

From the viewpoint of a dermatologist, instead of an individual writing an anti-aging skin care review, lotions and creams intended for daily use on the body shouldn’t contain additives or scents, because they are the two commonest allergens.

You and the person writing the age-defying skin care review might have a completely different set of sensitivities and allergies.  Perfumes have different affects on folks.  Preservatives like parabens are not only common allergens, but they have also been linked to cancer.

An anti aging skin care system should not contain mineral oils, petrolatum, paraffin wax or other petrol derivatives.  They really impede the skin’s natural capability to rejuvenate, grown new cells and new fibers.

in order for a contra-aging skin care system to be effective, it needs to contain compounds that spur the production of cells and fibers.  You need to look for amino acid proteins and peptides.  The latest of these is a compound called “Functional Keratin”.

Many companies have tried to use keratin over the years, but the only producing process they had de-naturalized the peptide proteins, so they could not be utilized by the skin’s cells.  The company that makes Functional Keratin has come up with a process that allows the peptides to stay active and very like the keratin found in human skin.

you need to look for plant oils, rather than mineral oils.  Some are awfully near to the skin’s own sebum, which is what creates moisture and pliancy.  Olive, grape seed and jojoba are all extremely close and they also have additional benefits topical to an anti-aging skin care system.

Damage from oxidation causes wrinkles, fine lines and changes in pigmentation.  Antioxidants stop additional damage and help to correct some of the damage done.  Grape seed oil has natural vitamin E, one of the finest antioxidants for the skin.  Jojoba encourages healing and has been shown to vanish scars, stretch marks and fine lines.

Another antioxidant that should be included in an age-defying skin care system is Coenzyme Q10.  It should be an ultrafine grade that will penetrate through plenty of the skin’s layers destroying free radicals and repairing some of the damage done.

So, you can still read an anti-aging skin care review to get a purchaser opinion, but at least you have a better concept of what to have a look for.
