It can be said that the early beginnings of acontemporary new} trend in adult Star Trek parodies stemmed originally from the fans who frequently wrote fan fiction stories about their favourite series. While this does hold some truth, these new movie parodies are actually based off the already existing adult comic parodies. These comics are the main inspiration and much if the images and graphic details has been taken directly from the comics to provide new full length feature films called Sex Trek : the subsequent Penetration and of course This Ain’t Star Trek XXX. These names aren’t really appealing to the ears but they do the job nonetheless. The actual fact that XXX is being paired with Star Trek is all of the fans need to see.

Despite the low quality title given to these movies, the con artist made Adult Star Trek film is actually, done very well. Unlike you’re standard adult film, the colours are basically more colourful, the actors can basically somewhat perform, and the lines are not that cheesy. Unlike any other parodies that twist the reality of the plot just to get the characters to get it on, This Ain’t Star Trek XXX is loyal to the original series in terms of plot. The set actually looks good and not clumsy or low quality like another adult films out there. Even the costumes, debatable the most important part of keeping the validity of Star Trek is done right. You even have complete music and fade out transitions!

It is a fact that with any sort of adult parody, not simply the adult Star Trek one, that for the onlookers to really believe they’re watching a movie and not just a porno, the sex really makes sense with the plot. If you the characters just get up and start hooking up for no obvious reason and without coherency, the crowd isn’t going to believe it. This film however makes the sex plausible.

The natural blending of the plot of the main series with folk having sex all while keeping the tale moving cohesively is what makes this Adult Star Trek parody stand aside from the remainder of adult entertainment. The trick is to make the scenes believable. As an example, Captain Kirk has often been a woman’s man sort of character. He’s the sort of guy whose personality would have him with any girl at any point, which makes the adult parody based off of his personality plausible and logical to a fault. It doesn’t sound completely out of personality for Shatner’s Captain Kirk to go around with many women at a time.

naturally, each adult Star Trek parody out there cannot be ideal without the indie, campy humor that adult film makers throw in when making spoofs of such giant franchise named films. But this is completely acceptable. Being an adult film, the film should turn you on, make you giggle, as well as staying true to the original content.
